I am a new instructor at Michael's in White Marsh, Maryland. I have been an artist all my life and am excited about sharing my passion and knowledge with others. I enjoy drawing, oil painting, acrylics, watercolors and photography. For the past several years I have focused on custom pet portaits, mostly using Grumbacher oil paint. Watercolor is my go-to travel medium because it is lightweight, dries quickly and mixing colors is easy. As a student in my regular painting class you can expect to receive a color photo of the class project (actual painting or reference photo), a printed supply list and basic instructions to paint the project. I will demonstrate techniques and inspire you to create your own 'masterpiece'. I believe we should relax and enjoy the process of painting images with pencils, paint, brushes, fingers or other tools... the more we paint the better!
