Graffiti Seduces Paris Museums and Galleries

Some of the graffiti artists that have left their legacy on walls in cities such as New York, Barcelona and Sao Paulo and use pseudonyms such as Banksy, Obey and Space Invader, have taken their clandestine art to Paris museums. The exhibition 'Au-delà du Street Art' (Beyond Street Art), which brings together 70 works from 13 internationally recognized artists and which will be on display at Paris' Musée de la Post until 30 March, is the latest proof of an ongoing trend in the French capital, where specialized galleries such as WallWorks, Itinerrance and Ligne 13, have sprung up.
