My work is inspired by many things - nature, family, experiences, emotions and music. The focus of my work is abstract expression, but I do not limit myself to the method of that expression, whether it be loose realism or abstraction. Much of my Abstract Expression pieces incorporate a variety of materials such as hand made papers and recycled art for interest and texture. With more realistic work I strive to emphasize unexpected color choices, interesting compositions as well as strong brush strokes.
