As an artist and a certified Grumbacher art instructor, I work hard to develop paintings and drawings speak both to me and to others about my root and the diversity that existing in me. Part of my process before I begin painting is to get inspiring from the kids. I really enjoy their border-less imagination. My goal is to inspire children for innovation, sense of beauty, and new way of thinking, enabling them to present themselves to the world in a different way and seek a position of their own in the future society. I was born and raised in mainland China with the traditional artistic education background and I obtained my bachelor's degree in Canada, majoring in visual arts. I am working as an ILE instructor for local district school board, and as a designated art instructor for adults art workshops at Michaels. I devote my time for local artist community, working as arts assistant for Varley Art Gallery, Markham and McKay Art Centre, Markham. I help the Children and Youth Creative Art Foundation of Canada arranging the international art exhibition at Metro Hall, Toronto. The art shows I attended including but not limited to "Bug in my head"; “the space 2007"; "Life takes Visa".
