I hold a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and worked as a graphic designer/ display production artist in the advertising industry for 11 years. As a Freelance Artist, I produced a variety of ads, talisman t-shirts, brochures, stationary, monthly calendars, book covers, CD covers, personal identities, menus, and many creative projects for local distribution. Researched projects and designed children books, created wearable arts and participated in mural paintings as well as decorating benches with cultural designs for Chicago lakefront, Navy Pier. In 1999, I moved to San Jose, California and has grown up to be an Art teacher in private school for K - 8 students as well as adults on the weekends. I love art and it's such an awesome experience to be able to share something that is a big part of me with others and to help them in the creative process.
