Kim Testone is a former art magazine editor and journalist. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drawing from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Arts degree in Arts Administration from Savannah College of Art and Design. As a painter, she is primarily self-taught, crediting her technique to the scrutiny of various instructional books, magazine articles, and online videos. Kim’s paintings focus on ordinary objects, places, and people. “Like most people, my life has never been about traveling to Europe , or seeing extraordinary landscapes from Mother Nature. It’s about going to the grocery store, 7-11 or the occasional baseball game with my husband. I think it’s important that people feel a little bit of peace and contentment every day, and I hope my paintings help people to better appreciate the beauty and complexity of everyday life.”
