From as far back as I can remember, my art journey began with a dream to become a Master Painter. My dream has remained with me -- and to this day, I strive for the divine perfection through every stroke of my pencil, and in every composition. My initial training at Humber College was short and intense, and it set me out on the path I was meant to take, which is Realism. My instructor, Marc Colangelo, encouraged me to further my studies at the Academy of Realist Art in Toronto, where I am currently studying. We practice an arduous and internationally respected four level art program, based on the 19th Century drawing and painting training techniques of the French ateliers, which is carefully calibrated to produce professional excellence in our field. I am currently in the second level of the program, under the expert tutelage of co-founder and Master Fernando Freitas.
