My name is Brittany Lambert, and I am an artist from southern California. I started painting when I was very young, and have stuck with it ever since. The mediums I primarily work with are acrylic and oil, but I also enjoy graphite, colored pencil, ink, water color, and scratch board. I like to emphasize my pieces on concepts of environmentalism and the empowerment of self discovery. I believe that if we all can find our own connection with the earth, we can become much more grounded as people and come together to harness the issues that have become reality to a global scale. I believe in the good things that may come our way, but I also believe everything starts with the individual self. In order for us humans to thrive as individuals we need to have inspiration and insight to the world around us, and above all, self acceptance. If we can find our own comfort within ourselves and within each other, we can then come together to coexist and act together on the global dream of peace, where staying humble, caring for our earth, and being good to those around us will go far.
