Raised in the Niagara Peninsula and spending summers on the shores of Lake Erie, Jacqueline formed a deep bond with nature which continues to inspire her artwork. In her life journey, Jacqueline has discovered her passions: painting, travel, personal growth and relationships with beautiful people. Consequently, these offer joy and inner peace as displayed in her painting and teaching. " My objective as a teacher and artist is to promote creative freedom. I will cheer you on as you take risks, as you open up to creating without limitations nor the need for external approval". Always curious and having an intrinsic need for variety, I reflect that in my artwork and life. Why am I sharing this? Because as a learner, isn't it important to have someone who can guide you in creating your own style? To assist you in becoming your authentic you and not a replica of another painter? Just like handwriting, you have your own paint strokes which we will hone over time. As for any of my paintings, if one resonates with you, I will be honoured if you should wish to make one yours.
