My Name is Erika and I'm currently an art teacher PK-8, servicing 600 students, dual-language, bilingual, and ASD in a priority 1 district, consisting of 80% Hispanic/Latino students. In my spare time, I'm an aerial dance instructor as well as a cake designer/baker. I recently just got married and enjoy spending time with my husband going to beach, museums, and even walks. I do love to paint with mixed media and do enjoy 3D design and sculpture. I have been doing art since I was in my mothers' womb, as I remember when I was 3 years old and received the 64 color pack of crayola crayons from "Santa" and since 2nd grade, knew I wanted to be an art teacher, just as my dad is a retired educator himself.
