I have been an artist my whole life and enjoyed being a sign painter for nearly 20 years until I sold my company in 1992. Since that time, I have explored symbolic art in watercolors while studying Jungian Psychology, worked with acrylics and have taken classes in Life Drawing, Acrylic painting at an Academy in Seattle. In addition to being an artist, I am a Interfaith Minister and Celebrant, performing Weddings and Memorials, and also volunteer as a Chaplain at a homeless shelter where a number of the guests are also able to explore art in the studio that is in the facility. I also work part time at a local gallery, sharing the stories of featured artists with our customers. I find art to be a way to express oneself in a dimension that is beyond the spoken word.
