In this episode of Materials and Methods Matter artist and educator Ed S. Brickler will introduce the five basic mark-making techniques for producing value and texture. Line Weight, Parallel/Contour Line, Cross Hatching, Scribbling, and shading will be demonstrated using a graphite drawing pencil.
