Meet The Alectrix, a fierce new five-girl group with a new MTV reality show. If the band looks familiar, it is because they were formally known as the Electric Barbarellas. But when that group stalled, leader of the pack Heather Naylor took charge and reinvented, swapping the pleather for jeans, handing over control to Joe Simpson as manager and even re-auditioning the girls. The Alectrix airs Tuesdays on MTV.
