Hulu's Teenage Drama 'East Los High'

Hulu is making history with a first English language show with an all Latino cast. East Los High is a scripted drama following the lives of East L.A. teenagers, and theres no shortage of drama. The teen soap is a realistic issue-oriented series dealing with sex, romance and mystery. The shows creator, Carlos Portugal, had three demands for the writer, no gardeners, no gang members and no maids, which keeps away from the stereotypical Latino roles.
