The Hairy Skyscrapers of the Future

Swedish architectural firm, Belatchew Arkitekter, has introduced a new and wild concept for skyscrapers - hairy buildings! The "Strawscraper" has an external energy-producing shell that's covered in hairs which extract wind energy. While ingenious and certainly amazing, the design has a wild look that the firm hopes will inspire other architects all over the world to create similar energy efficient buildings.
