Elisabeth is originally from the Philippines, and met her husband Norbert there. Norbert Wirsching is a German expat who headed a successful company for many years. The Wirsching family prospered in New York City. Over the years, they filled their apartment with mementos from their travels - everything from valuable paintings from Iraq to trinkets from Bavaria and Indonesia.
