Lejaby was one of France's best-known brands of lingerie -- until the company went into liquidation during the economic crisis. But following internet fundraising schemes and political action, the brand has been reborn as the "Maison Lejaby", employing many of the same workers, in a drive to set new standards for French workmanship and sex appeal.
