The Vatican's latest official artist in the tradition of Raphael and Michelangelo is Natalia Tsarkova, a petite blonde Russian woman with a pet owl and an eccentric personality who says she is inspired by the Holy Spirit but can also make small talk with her models -- cardinals and popes.
