Model Andreja Pejic Comes Out As Transgender!

In 2011, Andrej Pejic took the fashion world by storm, turning heads as a male model with a striking androgynous look, including walking in womenswear shows for the likes of Jean-Paul Gaultier and Marc Jacobs. Now three years later, Andrej is now Andreja - having undergone gender reassignment surgery. The 22-year-old Serbian-born model revealed the news on her Facebook page, noting that the change saved her life, and she hopes to show the world that after transition, one can be happy without alienating their past.
