I saw this scene as we drove to a camping vacation spot near Cancun, Texas. The late afternoon sunset was still glowing above and in the fall leaves in the fields we were driving past. This painting was based more on impressions and memories than on an exact spot. I distinctly remember some of the larger trees seemed to be 'sun catchers' and they seemed to be lit up with the golden light. Painted with Grumbacher acrylics on canvas panel.
