About Me I have painted for as long as I could remember – it is a God given talent. The opportunity to share my gift with others and create a memory for them is always a joy for me. I have been given the privilege to utilize my artistry in various marketplaces, private homes, storefronts, ministries, and churches. I especially love to draw/paint landscapes, flowers, birds and childhood homes. As a gallery artist for Southern Heartland Art Gallery, it is my goal to encourage and inspire others whether they are a new or longtime artist or simply a collector. I hope I can encourage people to take a moment and see art not just for the picture they may see but for the talent of the artist within. I have always found a way to use my creative talents when working at any role. I have also provided art classes to young children and senior citizens in various settings. Private Homes/Ministries/Churches I have been given opportunities to paint churches, storefronts and childhood homes. As an artist I love to attach memories to my paintings/drawings to bring back a moment in time and capture this on canvas. Mediums of art include: I work in various mediums acrylic, photography, pastels, colored pencil, pen, metals, watercolor and digital painting. Currently: I am a gallery artist at Southern Heartland Art Gallery located in Covington, Georgia. You can find my work on Etsy and Amazon Homemade online sites. My husband and I work together to create art at various levels. Using his carpentry skills he has assisted me in cutting, assembling and sculpting various wood pieces. I enjoy photography which includes mostly landscape, architecture, nature and floral. I have learned to combine my photography to enhance and create digital paintings along with word art inspiration. I am active on Facebook (Robin Shirreffs) where I share my art and inspirational words along with my photography. I have designed and painted several book covers for my husband and friends. I hope these samplings along with my artwork I have brought to the gallery will give you a glimpse of some of my art ability and who I am as an artist.
