Chauncy B. Williams Sr. is the son of Cleon and LaWanda Williams of Carthage Tx. He is the second youngest of five siblings. Williams was raised and graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 2006. In 2009, he graduated with his Associate degree from Panola College. He then transferred to the University of Texas in Tyler, where he completed the necessary undergraduate courses to receive his Bachelors of Fine Arts in 2012. In addition, he was inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success receiving academic honors in the same semester.
Today Chauncy is living the prophecy of his grandmother Ruthie Lee Johnson. At birth she noticed that he had usually large hands. She then stated "This baby has big hands. I wonder what he is going to do with these hands." Although as a child he always would draw from time to time he never knew how passionate he was until his freshmen year at Panola College. Professor Ann Boland played a big role in his pre-developmental stages. Williams became the first Student to have a solo Public Art Exhibit held in the M.P. Baker library on April 7th-11th 2008. This experience along with others served as building blocks to currently now complete commission work for various people and occasions including ministry.
Chauncy resides in Tyler Tx. with his wife of 7 years Desiree Harris-Williams and their three children, Chauncy Jr, Danielle and DeShawn.
