7 Fun Family Activities Your Entire Crew Should Love

Are you looking to get your family out of the house? Perhaps you're ready to fill up the weekend schedule with some exciting new activities? Make memories and get everyone busy by selecting some enjoyable outings that include everyone and get people moving. The following are seven things you can plan that are sure to engage and entertain your entire crew.

  1. Hit Up an Escape Room

Do you have a group that loves a good puzzle? Is anyone interested in solving mysteries? Then, look for a local escape room Tucson for your next adventure. These establishments specialize in providing mindboggling problems. As a team, the game master locks you in a room, asking your family to solve the clues to get out before the clock runs out.

Young and small can play a part, hunting for information throughout the room and putting heads together to find the answers. Communicate, laugh and practice working together.

  1. Plan a Camping Trip

Leave the stressful, technology-driven world behind for some good old-fashioned fun in nature. Camping trips get you all out and about exploring the woods. Rent an RV or borrow tents from a friend. Then, book a site somewhere you have wanted to go.

Take long walks and fish in the local ponds. Relax for hours and play some board games. You could even tell some scary stories around the fire pit.

  1. Hike in a State Park

If you don't want to sleep in nature, venture to a National State Park, hiking around for the morning and afternoon. Complete a quick online search to locate some within driving distance. They often cost very little to get in and offer a glimpse at the pure form of your state's geography. Find things from nature trails where you can look for birds and animals to traversing through caves where you can see waterfall and stalagmites.

  1. Visit a Farm or Zoo

Adults and kids alike may find a visit with animals refreshing. See if you have a local farm nearby where you could all visit and feed the livestock. Learn about how to take care of the various breeds and what daily life on the farm is like.

If the zoo is nearby, it could occupy you all for hours as you move through the exhibits and read about the different habitats of your group's favorite animals.

  1. Go Minature Golfing

Do you need a bit of competition? A miniature golf course permits all of your family members to play together, seeing who can make the better score. Little ones may love to swing the club while the older kiddos and adults battle it out to see who can make a hole-in-one.

  1. Have a Smore's Night and Family Fun Night

Satisfy the sweet tooth with a fire pit and a platter of s'more ingredients. Head outside for a beautiful evening and set it all up. Then hang around enjoying some sweet treats.

Follow it up with some outdoor fun in the yard, such as kids versus adult soccer goal match, some four square or ball toss. Pull things out of the garage and play together. Grab the bikes and go for a family ride. Bring out the skates and show off your childhood skills. You could even create some sidewalk art with your little one's bucket of chalk.

  1. Get Tickets to Your Favorite Sports Team

Do you have a local sports team in town? Is there one nearby? Splurge on some seats for everyone, checking out a good football, soccer or baseball game. Get everyone dressed up to cheer on their favorite players. Have fun enjoying a crowd and, hopefully, watching a good match.

Pull out the calendar, and find some good dates to make plans. Whether you have an entire day or simply an evening, pick an activity that your group is likely to enjoy. Those special moments mean something to everyone, making smiles and good memories.
