John Lennon's Custom Guitar Set to Be Auctioned in New York on Saturday

The guitar played by John Lennon and George Harrison at the end of the 60's could be sold at a New York auction on Saturday, where other pieces of musical paraphernalia belonging to icons such as Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson will also be for sale. The guitar was custom made for John Lennon in 1966 by VOX and was used during The Beatles' Magical Mystery Tour. It is currently on display at Time Square's Hard Rock Café where it can be seen before it is auctioned.
