Ryan Seacrest Signs Deal With Telemundo

Ryan Seacrest has inked a deal with Spanish language television network Telemundo to produce a music competition show. 'Duelo Musical, Super Estrella,' or 'Super Star Showdown,' will have singers battling each other for the title in multiple rounds of music-based challenges. Much like 'American Idol,' the viewing audience will vote on the winner. Ryan told the Hollywood Reporter that Latin America has always produced incredible musicians who have influenced global pop culture. Because of this, Ryan Seacrest Productions has been focused on developing programming to reach the Hispanic audience for some time.
