The city of Rome's Bibliotheca Hertziana reopened on Friday after a 17 year wait. It is now a space where modernism and history go hand in hand thanks to an ambitious architectural project executed by Spain's Juan Navarro Baldweg. The historic library has more than 300.000 books and 820.000 photographs.
