Greys, Ball Gowns, Bold Colors: Trends From 2014 Golden Globes
Shades of gray, shapely skirts, and hot hemlines were the biggest trends at the Globes.
Kerry Washington showed off her baby bump in a dove gray gown by Balenciaga. Kate Mara wore a silvery hue for the big night while Mila Kunis showed of silver sequin courtesy of Gucci.
On the flip side, some stars went with bold color blocking for the big night. Amy Adams wore a 70's inspired halter dress by Valentino, Parks & Recreation's Aubrey Plaza went strapless in Oscar de la Renta, and Sandra Bullock went with a pastel colorblocked dress by Prabal Gurung.
Another big trend (literally) were ball gowns. Kaley Cuoco wore a printed ball gown by Rani Zakhem with a corset bodice, The Good Wife's Julianna Marguiles went with a leaf print gown by Andrew Gn, and Sofia Vergara hid her hips for the moment in Zac Posen.
Will these trends stick around until Oscar night? We can only hope!
