European Church Treasures on Display in New York City

Artifacts from Hildesheim Cathedral are on display during a preview of "Medieval Treasures from Hildesheim" at the Metropolitan Art Museum in New York. Hildesheim Cathedral in Germany, a UNESCO world cultural heritage site, has one of the most complete surviving examples of church treasures in Europe, including masterpieces made from 1000 and 1250.
