This week sees the premiere of Michael Bay’s Transformers: Age of Extinction, which is the fourth film in the series, and a soft reboot, kicking off a new trilogy. The films have been massively successful, and have spawned everything from new toys to video games, comic series, cartoons, and even theme park rides! Though the classic series has always been successful, Bay’s films, for better or worse, sent the Transformers into a new level of success.

Transformers: Age of Extinction opens June 27, 2014, and was shot on new IMAX digital 3D 4K cameras.
