In this new article series, “Save the Date -Art Calls" will be showcasing some of the best and highest profile calls for submissions with deadlines at least one month or more from the posted date of the article, giving you the opportunity to prepare accordingly!

A wonderful gallery with a great reputation and a longstanding history, Jonathan LeVine Projects has been working with new brow and pop culture art, among many other styles and genres. This is a Juried Show consisting of professional artists.

Manhattan Arts International is inviting women artists worldwide to enter “HerStory”, an online exhibition, from June 15 – August 15, 2018. All styles, mediums, subjects, and sizes are welcome. The juried online exhibition at www.manhattanarts.com will feature more than 50 women artists. It will be promoted extensively via social media and to our international subscribers. This is an open Call for Submissions from artists all over the USA for an exhibit in our gallery – 8000 square feet of a Civil War-era warehouse on the Red Hook waterfront. With its trendy restaurants, bars, boutiques and billion-dollar view of the Statue of Liberty and New York Harbor, it’s an exciting place to visit and EXHIBIT. Pushing Paper: Realizing the Potential of the Medium seeks work that explores and manipulates the materiality of paper, as well as works on paper, including watercolor, oil, photography, prints, digital work, and drawings. Artists are invited to provide a juxtaposition of traditional styles and cutting-edge practices. In addition to 2-D works in all media, sculpture, and installation are all encouraged.
