Vermillion

Painted Plaster Sculpture, 3 ft x 3 ft x 3.5 ft,
This sculpture was inspired by a visit I took to a reptile house where I observed the many different hues of exotic lizards. I chose vermillion as the color for my lizard to provide a violent contrast to the mossy green stones of most environments. I have always enjoyed designing creatures and pulled different attributes from all different types of lizards when creating the anatomy for this piece.
